That is a fantastic kit! I only recommend to replace the thin rods by brass, see my build. Saves also the effort to clean 7 sprue gates on each of those little buggers.

After a half-century hiatus, I'm happily starting to model again. What color do you find best for the brass on antique cars? Instruction sheet says Tamiya X-12 gold leaf, but I was wondering if the X-31 titanium gold might be better. Other suggestions? Thanks!!
