This Warthog is huge in 1:48 so it was to big for my light tent. I hope the two ladies gives a good size comparison.
BTW the base is a photo realistic printed plate from Coastal Kits.

Amazing build through and through! 👍👍 You definitely did this kit (and all the aftermarket) justice.
Have too keep some things in mind for my own hog later.

Oh, and the base plate looks very nice too - would not have guessed it is just printed. I thought you just "quickly" made one on the go. 😄

I bow down before your artistry. An amazing result that leaves no doubt that the model was built by a true master of his craft.

Clean and careful work on one of my favorite aircraft. Love the details and the presentation with the well painted figures.

As always, a very detailed result. I think the model would have benefited from a very subtle wash to emphasize the panel lines... but that's a matter of taste.

So congratulations on this beautiful model. 👍

Wow, that you very much for your feedback! ❤️️
It was a great experience to build such a modern kit including the aftermarket sets 👍
The figures are not glued. The pilot could be hooked with the arm and legs to the plane. The other lady has such a good center of gravity that she stands firmly on her feet.

@Greg You have not looked careful enough! There are two ropes between the wooden wheel chocks! 😛

And what do the girls do? Gossip! (5€ in the chauvinist fund)

Just a truly magnificent result. And may I say again how much I heartily approve of the livery? So cool to see my home air national guard represented in such a wonderful build. The figures are a really nice touch as well. Just awesome, my friend!!

Thank you Christoph, George, Juergen and Len!
@George If you click on the project, you can see the full project inventory and both figures are also part of it.
@Len Without your fantastic support, it wouldn't look the way it does. A special Thanks 👍

I just added two pictures.

Some time ago, gorby asked for a picture to compare sizes, but after the model was finished, I forgot about it. So now a comparison with my Flying Flea in same scale.

And more sad news.
As I mentioned earlier, I wanted to finish the model for our club meeting this week. I managed to do that, but it was badly damaged during transport: one of the main landing gear legs broke.
I will try to repair it one day, but one thing is clear to me now: the Blacksnake will stay at home and will therefore not be participating in any exhibitions, including the Euro Model Expo.

I'm sorry to hear that. From my own experience, I know how it can spoil the joy of a finished model. I hope you manage to fix it and wish you success with the repair.

Funny pic with the Flying Flea 😄
But real bad news about the landing gear 🙁 😮
I'm sure you can fix that 👍
