Repainted the gold as there were some nasty fingerprints to be seen.

This lad is on a mission!
I can see my winter, being full of plastic and paint!
Definitely booking for a vacation in 2026, to give me a break from the workload I've got in front of me!
Nice job on all your projects though, it's a pleasure to see!

I look forward to gold z31.
I think painting the bottom with titanium gold was a good choice.

I just started a Z32 and was planning on gold, as well. A guy I used to work for in the early 90s had a brand new one and I was going to try to replicate his. Is that Tamiya TS-21 Gold on the top?

Colour coding was all the rage at one time, I remember seeing colour coded windscreen wipers.

The gold is Tamiya Ts-21 gold. Do not handle with bare hands, even after curing. Fingerprints will show.
I might paint the door handles Matt black after clear coat

Not only shiny. I see a quite full spray booth with a lot of future beauties

I merged the body to the underside. After the glue had dried, I noticed that the underside isn't flush. There is a tension that makes it bend a bit downwards in the middle. This could have been solved by shortening the pins on the front a tiny bit. Now there's also a gap between the bonnet and the nose.
And the rear lights part is too wide. I didn't want to cut at this stage, so I removed the light bar that sits between the lights.

Excellent result!!!
I have one of these kits so it's great to hear what the struggles are! Thanks!

I do understand the reach to perfection. It is your DNA, Martin. As a not car builder, for me it is the closest thing to perfection, but I don't build cars, thus I'm a poor judge. Keep chasing that perfection mate, you're close
