Desert Marlin AuthorThe decals for this are from the Strike Eagle set. The chevrons and the tail marking are all two-part. You have to put the white down first and then put the black over it. Keeping all that lined up is a bit of a challenge but doable! Cheers!!!

Jacob McCormickAfter a little reading, White 7 was actually Uffz. Rudolf Moycis from JG.27. His aircraft is often pictured with Clade's White 2 but Clade's machine has less side camouflage "blobs" and more mottling.

Jacob McCormickThis is definitely one of my most anticipated ones - I got it years ago but I was pretty young and didn't understand how to do it. The painting is still a bit too much for me, but I plan to get in some practice with some of my other kits beforehand so I can make this one look really nice.

Desert Marlin AuthorThanks Mr D! This is a challenge mostly due to the size of the kit. The CFTs are a bear to get right, but I did my best. The F-15I is going to be even larger so I am going to do a bit of planning before I start. May have to do most of the work on the F-15I out in the hangar...

Desert Marlin AuthorThanks Rui! Damian, This particular marking set requires that the crosses be at an angle. Apparently Hans Ulrich Rudel had them that way. I could absolutely remove them and repaint, but if they were straight, that might not be correct…
