There is something about 80s and 90s trucks which rubs me the right way.

Hi my friends.
No worries bugsy, love this kind of thing.
@Spanjaard. No. It will be in Mammoet colours. That's either a red cab with a white door, or a black cab with a white door. Still tbd. flic.kr/p/avsJjt
@Alex. I love this cab. Same goes for the Volvo F12. But a 80's MAN with a cement mixer, that's the dream.

Cement mixer, you say? Now that, I might be able to help with? Currently there's two types, on the plastic market. The Rex mixer and the Transit mixer.
To my knowledge, I have both? So what tickles your fancy, Mr Martin?

Thanks Sander 👍🏻

Bozzer, this kit Kenworth/Challenge Transit Mixer (AMT AMT1215/06, 1:25) is in my stash to donate the mixer to this truck MAN 26.321 Formel Six (Italeri 756, 1:24)

Might not be era or continent correct, but I'll manage something

Personally, I think that the Transit mixer is an excellent choice. That's why I got a couple. The Rex mixer, is too large, in my opinion. But you should see some of the crazy mixers, the Americans have! When I first saw one, I thought it was going backwards!

crazy indeed Bozzer!

That is awkward, to say the least. It does give the driver a better idea of where he's going to deliver his stuff?

The idea, so I'm told, is to get the mix, right in the spot of the pouring. Personally, they just don't look right, when you see them rolling down the road, but someone must've known what they were doing, when they designed them?

I'll say it again, 80s and 90s trucks have that little "something"....let's call it soul. Or character?

Yep, it was like being 14 again. The only thing missing was a Ford Cargo? Those were very popular here. Great video Martin 👍

I couldn't get myself to painting anything. So I turned my attention to the truck once more.
I didn't like the shape of the wind deflector on the roof. An hour or 12 later and presto! Flat roof!
I also glued the chassis, but that was like a rail track making a left turn, so I disassembled it again. Waiting for my light bulb moment.

Quite a twist in that Italari chassis. Hit a cow or a camel perhaps???
