Thank you, mates, and welcome here!
Yes, the level of detail in this kit is really nice.

Wow, great work! Something we may expect from you, but it is always a pleasure to see your results 👍
3 May, 15:59
Taking a seat! Great topic choice, Morane does not get enough love from modelers 🙂
4 May, 12:07
Thank you very much, mates!
You are right Alec. Maybe this Morane from Dora wings will change that. Then it looks like a very nice kit.

Seems you get a lot more detail in the Morane kit i.e. photo etch. Than you do in the Bloch kit. What's the fit like? Otherwise nice progress Jakub, looking forward to the outcome.

Hi Mark, the details in the kit are very good. The etchings are well used and really improve the appearance of the model. The fit is very good for a short run kit. I only puttyed the fuselage and wing joints and the upper and lower wing joints. But it's nothing terrible.

The Morane is coming along nicely Jakub. The Bloch is a 2019 release, there is some flash and fit issues though but funnily enough it's been quite enjoyable. 👍🥸👍

Nice progress so far Jakub! Count me in for this one 👌
1 15 May, 11:54
Thank you, Guy and Alec!
Finally, i sprayed the last of the camouflage colors.

Missed the start completely 🙈 and catching up now.
The paint work looks really good 👍🏻

Looks great! Jakub which colors did you use for the upper camo? I'm currently building D.520 following the instructions of a book, but I don't like it at all, especialy the brown. Yours looks legit!

Thank you, guys!
Giannis, colors i´ve used are shown on the pictures. H+ number means gunze hobby color and C + number is gunze mr.color. Unfortunatelly, i´m not able to tell you the ratio of mixing. Those other bottles on pictures are colors used for lightening camouflage colors.

Špizuju že ti kokardy hezky vlezly do nýtů a i s tou směrovkou ses popral na borca. Špicově vyladěnej komplet kámo.

Thanks a lot, mates!
Jardo, ty obtisky jsou za mě dost dobrý, nýty okopírovaly pěkně, ale wash v nich nedržel. Tak jsem to ještě prosvištěl nýtovadlem 😄

Jakube, it's going to turn out beautifully. It's a real pleasure to look at.
And you got the process photographed very nicely, too.
Hats off to you.

Touch up's, spraying of the markings and the decals spot on Jakub. 🤟🥸👍
5 September, 11:25
I started some weathering. Here is the result of the first chipping session.
1 5 September, 17:59
Your "inverse" method is very interesting, I would never have thought of that!
Normally, I would have done it the other way around, metal, fluid, camouflage paint. But it makes sense, as this gives you much more control and you could also remove it completely and start again without risking the camouflage paint. You never cease to amaze me!

Great chip effect. I was wondering when your sattisfied with your 'chips' do you seal them directly?
1 7 September, 13:27
Hi bughunter and Timmie. The reason, why i sometimes use this ,,inverse" method is very simple. It's much easier to chip the ,,fresh" color. So, it happened to me, that i sprayed silver color, then chipping fluid and then worked with camouflage colors for a longer time. Then, it was hard to chip the color applyied some weeks ago. I'm sealing this work with semi- gloss or matt varnish, but It's not necessary to seal it immediately.

Great progress! Bug's comment made me go back… WHAT!?! Reverse chipping. wtf. Brilliant, I have to try that…
2 23 September, 13:22
Thank you, Alec. This method was born out of desperation, but it works for me 😄
1 23 September, 14:28
Thank you mates for following this build. The work is done, so i uploaded some pictures of finished model

It was already apparent during the construction phase that it would once again be a stunning model. And that's exactly how it turned out. Awesome 👍
1 1 October, 16:18
This turned out really well Jakube. I really like the patina, it's just right 👍
1 2 October, 00:20
A very nice result Jakub! You did a great job on this one! Love it 😊

Thank you very much mates for your kind words! I appreciate them very much! If your steps lead to the Czech Republic in the next 6 months, don't forget to visit our model exhibition at the Technical Museum in Brno. You will see several of my works here, but mainly much nicer pieces from top modelers from the Czech Republic and Slovakia! Here are some pictures from the exhibition: SCM Newsfeed

Top work indeed! And thanks for the preview of the exhibition! Pity I won´t make it there. I`ve been to beautiful Brno once bicycling from Praha to Bratislava and liked the city (even without exhibition 🙂)
1 2 October, 09:54
A bit far for me to travel from Melbourne Australia 😀 I was born and did some of my school years in Brno!
1 2 October, 22:06
my compliments Jakub, thats a realy nice plane you've made. like your attention to detail and paintjob.
1 3 October, 15:21
Beautiful result, Jakub! Although MS.406 is not exactly my cup of coffee, thanks to your fantastic modelling craft I can keep my eyes on this MS.406.
1 4 October, 06:27
Thank´s a lot gentlemen!
Michael, you are right. The angle of wheels is crazy 😄 I have no idea why it was made this way...
