Thanks all! Winter is off to an aggressive start over the last two weeks or so here in Michigan, so inspiration was not hard to find! The snow effect is from Tamiya (two different kinds, snow and powdered snow). I've used it on a few builds now and I've found it to be quite easy to work with. Glad you all enjoyed!

Missed this one earlier, amazing result! The chipping is fantastic. Nothing looks better IMO than a good hairspray/chipping fluid job. Some talented people out there can make chipping with silver paint or pencil look good. I'm not one of them so it's hair spray for me. You say it took a long time and it looks like time well spent. 👍

There's nothing I can say about this build, that's bad. However, I've come to expect a high grade of build from you, now. You never fail! What I will comment on though, is that your figure painting is definitely improving more. I've just ordered some super-fine brushes from china, that are designed for nail art. I'm kinda hoping they are fine enough for retina and pupil work? Failing that, I'm gonna paint mustaches on all my female figures 😛

Thanks everyone!! Actually just the grille is aftermarket on this one, the wheels and steering wheel are from the kit (a fine kit, by the way). I added the plumbing and wiring in the engine bay but basically everything else is from the kit as well. That figure is one of a batch of Hasegawa girls that I did - I'll be sharing more of them soon.

Bozzer, during my Christmas shopping (and after I finished the figures of course) I came across some of the finest-point brushes I've ever seen from The Army Painter - I'll let you know how they work out once I get them into the rotation!

A vector drawing program and cutting plotter is a useful tool, but a cutter has limits on small elements. I'm 100% happy with the crosses, but the number is not perfect as I wanted it. Also the positioning of the masks is more complicated than decals as you can see the position better while applying decals.

...remind me to wear the closeup glasses if decaling!!....somehow...Mr Dyslexia got BOTH the Trans Antarctic Expedition decals upside down...good thing there is another kit coming with the replacement canopy...those decals will get scanned....i should make that std procedure.....

...its very hard to get a good line in white paint....the pencil trick works well....Future will be used on this model from this point on for gloss overcoats because panel lines are done....Mission Models Gloss was used as a base for the panel lines....but it is getting hard to find and there is a ton of Future here...

MARPAT is similar to Muliticam, I wore the Original Multicam In Afghanistan in 2011 and 2013, but the Army Multicam had white dots in it. I was Army 25 years and wore all the uniforms between 1990-2015. But happy to help, amazing work all good !

I own original jackets in both woodland and desert MARPAT, and off the top of my head, the individual pixels are about 3 mm square. I'm sure there are some people who can paint that to scale in 1:35, but most of us will have to go for the overall impression instead 🙂

to Bozo:Number 2 with the blue tail? It's very beautiful too. I chose number 9 because of that black-white photo. I have nearly Twenty F6Fs in my stash, After making two italerei 1/72 F6Fs recently, I wasn't very satisfied，I might make another one in a different color in the future.
