Had a play after work
Main body together
Underbody, together, then a dry fit just to see how big she will be.

Main body primer, filling, and sanding (FSR) Next.

Underbody is going to be strengthened inside and outside and should help tidy it up as well.

Think that will keep me busy for quite a while 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Managed a little bit today.
So in went the strengthers, then check the axles still fit.
Last dry fit to see how she looks. 😃

Had a play with the MDV moon tank.
Axles are cut to size and finished with a dry fit.
The next stage is FSR
(Filling Sanding Repeat)
Filling will be long and boring but has to be done.
That's why I have more than 1 project on the go.

Lesson learned
Don't do modeling when half asleep.
Made a mistake, but for once the glue worked to well so cannot correct it.
But as it will be a static model the tracks should cover it. 🤣🤣🤣

Made a start,
1st a coat of varnish
2nd filler primer
3rd grey primer.
Then I repeat 2&3 untill 6 coats of each. Then, I will move on to actual filler. 😃

About time I had another day on the MDV.
First see where I got too
Primer on wheels, ready for top coat once I decide on the colour.
More spraying and started filling.
And the Mustang needed a little bit of filler
Last got out my tank jig to help with the tracks.

A little work on the chassis, mostly filling.
Ready for Sanding tomorrow.
Last after a phone with a well trusted friend. Gone for Gunmetal on the wheels and chassis. I can then weather with greys for moon dust. Thanks, Richard.😀

Day of wet & dry
Unfortunately I can see 2 places where the 3D printing has split.
So another day of spraying and filling, then try again. 😀

Now Mustang completed, its back to the MDV.
First coat of gun metal on the chassis.
Then find the size of the wire needed for the tracks. (1mm)

Last wet and dry the main body 😀

Made a start on the tracks,
21 down **** loads to go. 🤣🤣🤣
108 per track. So far, so good.
Also ordered 5 more pack of rods from my loical model shop.
Every little helps.
As i say use them or lose them. 😀

Feels smooth now, I give it a couple of days to dry fully, then reprime, and then we will see. 😀
