yeah, I'm not sure about the steam myself. I like the idea but I couldn't find better (more "dense") material for the scale. Figures are from Aliexpress:

Great idea, I love the dio! Turn on the Top Gun theme on the speakers and you are ready to go 🙂

Is the steam made from cotton balls? It might not be perfect, but you might want to try to give it a bit more shape to it. It's a bit like just a round clump. If you add a few wisps it will help the organic look to it I think.

Andrzej Rygiel: No, No, No! Top Gun theme is for one airplane only, and it's F-14.

Greg Baker: Will try some tricks. I think brushing it with toothpick dipped in glue might give it some shape.

I usually use the cheapest hair spray I can find. A couple of blasts of that and some tweezers might help. 🙂

Greg Baker yes. I've used hairspray before, but in such small scale I thing I'll need something stronger than hairspray to shape small vapor clouds.

I've used cotton balls shaped with a bit of wire dipped in white glue and sprayed with hairspray many times in 1/144 scale. You can check out my Area 88 builds if you want to see any examples. It usually works really well. The wire/glue add a bit of structure to the cloud and the hairspray allows you to get a few whisps in here and there to make it look more organic.
