Kalle, I fully agree and share the same view. Although I wouldn't probably buy this kit myself, I highly appreciate the gift giver going the extra mile to find out what I like to do and took the effort to get one for me - this alone is a highly effective driver for me to finish it, despite all the challenges it presents.

Nathan, I have highlighted it already in my previous comment that the original Su-25K kit was the one I vividly remember to be something really extra in its original days and I had a blast building it many, many years ago. I hope to put in some extra care and love to transform this one into something I won't be ashamed to display in my models display case 🙂.

We visited our family in Prague two weeks ago, and since the ladies already had a pre-planned weekend agenda, us boys couldn't stay behind - and we chose to visit the Kbely Aviation Museum on Saturday. A great choice it was, I remember being there about 10-ish years ago and I must say they changed and added a lot of new aviation beauties out there. My son was baffled to see some of the machines he likes to fly virtually in the War Thunder or World of Warplanes games 🙂. We spent almost the entire afternoon in the museum, if you want to do a bit more of photo documentation of your favorite planes, you can easily be there the entire day.

Anyway, if you are an aircraft aficionado and you happen to have a free day while visiting Prague, don't miss this opportunity. And don't miss out their second exhibition area which is outside the main museum place (as we almost did 😠), it's the old Aero factory that is about 10-15 minutes of walk here --> mapy.com/s/menezufoke. Both areas are admission free.

To finish our trip in style, we had dinner and couple of beers in the "Kbelsky Pivovar" restaurant (kbelskypivovar.cz/) that is also about 10-15 minutes of walk from the museum --> mapy.com/s/mucalofebu. They had really tasty dishes and a broad selection of locally brewed beers. Enjoy!

I love Kbely museum, I have been there three or four times, but I did not know about Stara Aerovka site... Thanks for the info, Andrzej! Now I have the reason to visit Prague again 😉

Thanks for the comments & likes mates! Indeed, this was really an enjoyable build, great fit and detailing and plethora of beautiful marking options supplied by Eduard. And since it's a dual-combo, I already started the second one, this time I'll finish it in one of the bright yellow liveries.
