Welcome Henry and Robin.
Thanks Robin, cockpit looks okay, looking forward to posting a picture with the cockpit assembled inside the fuselage soon. This is a big bird and I'm excited about building it, it's 47cm long. WOW

Hi Maksim and Thomas, thanks to you both. Yes, the cockpit has been built only with what's in the box and some paints. There are decals for the cockpit instruments and using decal solutions they got the shape of the buttons and displays quite OK. Doing a bit more work today on it, hopefully i can do some painting tomorrow.

Watching with great interest!
This one is also on my list at some point, though I am definitely going to add some aftermarket armament to mine since the kit is very limited with PLAAF A2G weaponry.

Welcome Alexander. It's a solid kit, the only construction trap is the engine-intake geometry, which demands dry-fitting and correction before committing to glue. The box includes a small PE sheet. The weapons are entirely Chinese, not the standard Russian loadouts seen on most Flanker kits.
PL-10
Short-range, high-agility infrared missile. Comparable role to AIM-9X or IRIS-T. Helmet-cue capable, extreme off-boresight performance.
PL-12
Medium-range active-radar missile. Rough analogue to early AIM-120 variants. Used for standard BVR engagements; designed for beyond-visual-range intercepts.
KD-88
Air-to-surface standoff missile. Electro-optical/IR or TV guidance depending on variant. Mission profile: precision strikes on fixed ground targets from outside point-defence range.
These weapons confirm the kit represents a Chinese-operated Flanker derivative rather than any Russian or export configuration.
