Thanks Mark! I'll have a placeholder deck crew for this first shot at the Dio - using the older Hasegawa kit. Once I gain some more SP with figures, I'll update the album - but that's getting ahead of myself - have to get that carrier deck done first! 😜

Thank you everyone for the kind words everyone - though not even close to the level as many of you, I'll get there some day, I hope!
@NIck - completely agree with you, though impractical in practice, I much prefer Hi-Viz, it gives these jets character.
@ Music - I based the design off of Italeri's carrier deck kit - Carrier deck section (Italeri 1326, 1:72). I used the .13mm styrene sheets and cut them down to size. Scribing the upscaled measurements took the most time as I had to burn through tons of thick guiding tape to keep the scribing tools within the designated lines. The color gave me the most trouble, as there heat staining and panel covers varied greatly depending on the carrier, so I just picked on and ran with it. 😀. I'll try and find the photos I took for it and upload it later for you.

Thanks Jörg!
@Music - the added photos + process were added on slides 24 and 26 - the pictures will do a better job of describing the masking guides for the panel joints.

Thanks Rui, Marlin, Maj Oak, Johannes, Neuling and Franky - not just for the kind words, but also for being the inspiration for me to improve my builds in this hobby! It's fascinating how some of you assemble vacuum formed kits - or like Neuling, produce such amazing dioramas that speaks to the viewer!
Thank you for being my inspiration, mates!
