Next to the Charioteer I start building IBGs Cromwell ARV. The kit contains specific parts for the hull, f.e. the front and rear plate, as well as the specific parts for the recovery version like boxes, two booms, planks, etc.
Unfortunately some of the parts are less detailed and/ or are seperated into two to three parts with a lot of seems to sand and fill later on. I decided to spent that extra time in scratchbuilding the parts.
The clumsy parts on the front plate should have represent a chuck. With some improvements made out of styrene it looks much better now.
Happy Modelling

Thank you all for your kind comments. I was a bit suprised to need to replace some of the parts. At first they looked really promissing, but a closer look shows a lot of things to fill and sand or to optimize. But well, scratchbuilding such details is fun, isn't it 🙂

Amazing scratch building again 👍
You should never forget reference pictures like this with your fingers in all your projects, because I'm always shocked and surprised at the size! And I'm sure others feel the same way.
