Looks great. What color did you use for the gold? Works very well with the decals.

Thanks!
The gold started out as generic rattlecan Champagne metallic which had no shine. I coated it with a generic clear coat after applying the decals, that made the Champagne go gold👍🏻

That's an interesting configuration for the exhaust system. Don't think that I've seen that before? I'll have to dig my LTL out and take a look at the instructions. That's a very well presented truck, Sander. Well done!!!

Thanks Bozzer! It's my only LTL, so I don't know about the exhaust system on other kits, but this looks pretty.

Thank you for the additional pictures! The exhaust system is like it is drawed in the instructions. Because I don't build that many trucks, I only can tell, that the Ford LTL and Aeromax (106 and 120) have the same exhaust system. Sure: Italeri gave them the same chassis 😉

Italeri and Revell use this chassis and engine for all non V8 trucks, at least up to the mid 90s. My Freightliner, Peterbilt and Western Star kits are all on the same chassis and have the same engine, only the colors make a real difference.

Definitely, Italeri use the freightliner chassis, for almost all their USA truck kits. With a few adapters, they managed to make everything fit, for every kit.
I took a look at that exhaust system, and it's indeed correct. The round can, underneath, is actually a silencer/muffler, to keep the tone down. We all have them on our cars, but to see it on a USA truck, was a first for me. Them boys like a straight through pipe, to get that smoke out of the engine and into the air!
The only time I've seen something similar, was on the Autocar Dump truck. And that's a system that they used, for heating the Dump Bed. I'm guessing it was for asphalt loads, but I'm pretty certain that I'm right. A smart idea, from our American cousin's
