Got some 3d printed Landrover parts from C1 models, some great high quality pieces.
First up was to modify the roof rack by cutting the centre pieces out and gluing the remaining 4 quarters. A little tidying and it's done.
Side steps were foul of the wheels so these have been reduced in length to fit and fitted with tubing on the under side thus forming the basis of the external roll cage.
Bull bar finished off using the kit front bumper cut into quarters and mounted back to back to keep the original indicators. The headlamp surrounds were further rounded out to fit.

Used Etsy for the first time and bought some 3d printed wheels from TheFoggyCyprus based in California.
They are scale 26 inch dually wheels with square holes and low profile tyres for around £27.
They arrived within a week which is impressive,UK vat plus postage from the US and I spent £41 in total.
I will be making use of Etsy in the future.

Front suspension is virtually complete - modified kit front axle with longer drop, kit front springs reduced in thickness with the Dremel, scratch built airbags using rubber O rings and shocks from my Chevy Van stash.

Front suspension now completed. Stance is about right but may try and go a little lower. I can modify the surrounding bodywork and bumper to visually 'lower' the Bedford further.

Interior parts fabricated - racing shifter with mounting plate to get right height, dash mount rev counter, fuel cell and rear roll cage bar to attach top harness straps.

Thanks mate. I guess I was waiting for you to say something that I didn't know, but I'm glad you cleared it up.
I found that on full speed, it's best to fire everything up, before you start painting. However, if you own animals, use any kind of fabric for crafts, etc, or basically have hair, then there's always going to be an issue with hair or fibres, hitting your model. The fans, suck them in, but wet paint is like a magnet to them! Apart from painting naked, in a clinically controlled environment, I doubt I'll ever solve that problem? Bloody hairs are a curse.

My booth has lots of fans thus lots of air volume (cfm), I run it at full blast while I set up everything. The theory is that it will pull all the dust out of the air while I am moving about in the room. While painting, I set it to medium which sucks out all the overspray without attracting a lot of dust. Once the items are painted, I set it to low and park my pieces in the booth to continue to slowly draw the fumes from the outgassing paint while minimizing dust disturbance. I also tend to leave the room to prevent me from touching anything.
