I do not think they will every release this kit. It's been over a year since they announced it.

This kit is very inaccurate the details are crude with panel lines disappearing, incorrect or missing completely. The worst problem is that the crossesection is not symmetrical on any axis.. There are a few details that are rendered quite nicely so I don't understand the sloppiness of the majority of the details. The price for this crappy model is exorbitant. I managed to find a Moebius kit which despite its faults is millions of light-years ahead of this resin kit.

Although I have been waiting forever for a kit of the new Queen E, I refuse to buy 1/700 Trumpeter models because they are all waterline now. They can at least offer the bottom hull as an add-on and charge accordingly. For those who insist that the "best" way to represent a ship is waterline, I suggest they visit a museum or two to see how ships are represented. Even if presenting it as part of a diorama at sea you need a bit of hull below the waterline to accurately show the ship in anything but a calm lake. This is totally ridiculous Trumpeter!

I strongly agree, they should make submarine kits without anything in it while they're making these ass waterline kits too

The details of the hull of the original? Maybe but that has never stopped Trumpeter from dreaming up a hull bottom in the past when they used to make full hull ships. They've just gone Tamiya and charge an arm and a leg for new kits . The funny part is that their kits under the Trumpeter, Hobby Boss and I Love Kit brands are not exactly top of the line. Flyhawk, Magic Factory and Sphyrna are light years ahead in details and they give you the option to make waterline or full hull. They may be a little more expensive but they are great value and I will gladly pay the price. Trumpeter and cos are just not as good.

Yet another FULL Hull Chinese ship Trumpeter has released. All other nations' ships they release are waterline! Maybe they should use the Tamiya logo instead.

This is part of my rants about Trumpeter not releasing full hull model ships except if they are Chinese!! This one is full hull anything else released by Trumpeter in the past 5 years or so is waterline

The actual model of the Ferengi Marauder seems way too small for 1/1400. The Marauder was 392 metres long supposedly so at 3.75 inches long (fits in my palm) as it says on the box the scale is closer to 1/4000

The Ferengi Marauder and the Klingon Bird of prey in this kit are 1/3200 and are identical to the AMT/ERTL No. 6858 kit which correctly shows 1/3200 scale

That's because the two ships are in different scales. This is a re-box of the original 3-Piece Adversaries kit, with Klingon Bird of Prey at 1:1400, Romulan Warbird at 1:3200, and Ferengi Marauder at 1:3700. Why they're each at a different scale is anybody's guess, probably somebody drugged-out at Round2.

Love the box art 🙂 Trumpeter is a little biased no? Chinese fighter flown by Pakistani pilot shooting down Indian Rafale.
