I need to clean up the antislip a bit from parts I don't want it on, I will do that after the first coat of paint dries.

I used the VSM antislip set that includes the glue and the sand in 2 bottles, I used a brush to control where the glue is applied so sprinkle the sand on so it would not become a mess and not cover over details. Here is a link. vms-supplies.com/vms-hull-tex They have 2 types, the other type is more fine and more sparse which is meant for US vehicles but the one I used is for IDF tanks and APC's

Have to fix one of the unit lines on the barrel. funny how you notice things after photos that you do not normally see in person. its weird that in real time it does look straight but not in the photo.

antennas and IDF Mre boxes loaded up. I am not going to do a fully tarped turret basket on this model. I have seen a lot of pictures of no tarps and even hand brush painted on sloppy white lines on the top of the barrels by the crews so if you do a Merkava take note that white barrel markings are not always masked off and perfect in real life. I also notice a lot of Merkavas are in different states of disrepair, like very badly bent or barely attached fenders and mudflaps half hanging off. Also seen makeshift cardboard box sides taped onto the turret basket for the tank number boards. Also noticed a lot of the infantry baskets are very badly damaged on a lot of tanks, bent and tops broken off or removed. Its evident that there is no standard in some units like there is in other militarie's but during wars, standards are pretty laxed as opposed to peace time in most countries. I remember how strict the units I served in were anal about only using issued TA-50 and how that dramatically changed to a lot of much better individually bought gear when we went to Iraq and Asstan. Still have to do the coax 50 cal control cables, will probably use sewing thread.
