In the Sturmgeschütz III Ausf.F/8 vehicles produced by Alkett, the two-part maintenance hatches with internal hinges for the bow plate were initially used. The vehicle was only built in a limited number in this version, unfortunately this version of the nose plate was not included in the Takom plastic model kits No. 8013 and No. 8014, although the component is available as an extra molded part in the Panzer III / Sturmgeschütz III kits from Takom.
