Spitfire PR.C

The Spitfire PR.C was the first photo-reconnaissance version of the Spitfire that was produced in significant numbers. These aircraft had two F.24 8" cameras located in the starboard wing, with a blister underneath the wing. A second blister was present underneath the port wing, this one holding a 30 gallon fuel tank. Several changes were made in the line of PR.C types. Later version could have an internal fuel tank (behind the cockpit) and the pronounced chin that covered the enlarged oil tank that was needed for the longer-duration fights. The Airwaves blisters are good but the internal fuel tank doesn't look like the real thing so it was scratch-built. There also is a small air inlet on the port side of the engine cowling (purpose unknown to me).
Once again the wing pane lines were filled.
