In the 80s the Spanish Air Force evaluated several aircraft models as substitutes for the old Mirage and F4 Phantom. The preselected aircraft were: F5E, F14, F15, F16, F18A and F18L. After extensive evaluation the commission narrowed the list to F16, F18A and F18L. Shortly after, the FACA Commission received the order to also evaluate the Mirage 2000, which was rejected. The number of units to be purchased was reduced to 96 and the F18L fell off the list. Finally, on July 23, 1982, the council of ministers authorized the purchase of 84 F18As.
What if we had chosen the F-16 Figthing Falcon?...

For the project I'm going to use the Italeri kit in 1/48 and a set of resins bought on Aliexpress which are the bad version of the Black Dog set. The quality of the resins is not very good but with a bit of luck and a lot of work I hope to be able to save it...
