Bell UH-1H Huey "Dustoff", Italeri 1247

A friend gave me this kit, although I already had a "short" Huey from Hobbyboss in my collection. I already have a gunship UH-1, so I decided to make either typical "Slick" transport variant of this helicopter or "Dustoff" medevac option. I chose medical one and bought Dustoff decals from Printscale. The kit is marked as UH-1D but the helicopter I chose to make is having D type engine hood and could actually be made out of the box. The model was airbrushed with Vallejo US olive drab and now stands on the shelf next to its older and shorter UH-1C "brother" from Hobbyboss. I actualy liked Italeri kit. Even taking into account some inaccuracies and its age, the kit assembles well and looks not bad compared to much newer Chinese-made Huey.
