Cessna 172D Skyhawk, Arii A702-300

The Cessna 172 is the most produced airplane in history and appears in a huge number of films, books and video games. I wanted to have this plane just in 1:72 scale when I was a child and thanks to Ebay I got this Cessna by Japanese Arii. Nice little model from 1980s is quite simple but quality product. Decals had some yellowish color but applied very well despite some thickness. I would notice two points in assembly: the weight in the nose and main landing gear struts. The model is heavy on the tail, so balance weight in the nose should be checked. Also, the main landing gear struts were taken by the authors of the model from fantasy or somewhere else, but clearly not from a real plane. They are straight on the Cessna 172 while on the model they have rounded, "arch-like" shape. Fortunately, these shortcomings are easily eliminated and the result is a little eye-pleasing model of a famous light civilian aricraft.
