North American F-51D Mustang, Italeri 086

The late version of P-51 Mustang from Italeri. The Mustang is a legendary aircraft, so it is a nust have for all lovers of WW2 fighters. Mustangs got a new designation F-51 after the start of the Korean War and there are decals for USAF F-51D from this period, afterwar Mustang Mk.IV of New Zealand AF and one british Mustang Mk.IVa from April 1945. I choose natural metal finished American variant with noteable sharkmouth. The model was made long ago in inflight position, brush painted, but looks good enough even now in my opinion.
