Well Jos, they didn't. In fact, nor did the airforce! The Beavers were the property of the army but flown and maintained by airforce personal. IIRC they were part of 334 squadron and this particular machine was on loan to Leeuwarden AB to serve as a utility aircraft. The other side shows the emblem of 322 squadron. But I can be wrong!
