Alexander Grivonev АвторFunny thing about the camo, it was absolutely non standardised. This aircraft did not really exit the prototype stage and every unit was painted how ever the guys at the factory saw fit that day. The overall pattern was RLM75 blotches over RLM76 but the size and distribution varied from aircraft to aircraft. It was fun trying to replicate the exact pattern from original pictures of the prototype Nr. 15 I built.

Alexander Grivonev АвторFabrice, I found this kit on a Tokyo trip last year. Tokyo has a shopping district called "Akihabara". There are like 8-10 scale model shops 10 minutes walking distance from each other. This place is a modelers heaven..

S MExtremely well done! Excellent paiting and brilliant building quality! I also went to Akihabara last year and it really is as you described. Where did you get those masks for "non-walking area" stripes?

Urban GardiniFantastic work on the not so wonderous wooden wonder! I agree on the cleverness with you painting aid contraption. It gives me some ideas on one of my ongoing builds how to think as the next step is to paint some paint splotches. I'll see what I can come up with. At least my MiG-21 is a smaller kit to work with. But to get the paint work as neat as yours will be quite demanding...

Alexander Grivonev АвторThx a lot mates! The one and only advice I can give for the paintjob is: practice. Try different paints, thinner ratios, different airbrushes, different air pressures, find something that works for you
