I bought the GHAD-39 march 31st 2023, via Barbatos Rex website, $34 delivered; great airbrush and an improvement on the entry level brushes I owned, plus the Paasche VL & VLS siphon feed
It is consistent in spray patterns, which has enabled me to improve control of spraying leading to improved techniques and outcomes
This has provided the skill-set platform to try new methods with some success but definite progress
The brush is relatively easy to keep clean, and also has a large enough bowl (with the paint cup removed) to mix small amounts of paint to do those small areas e.g. cockpits without using the paint cup
I had mixed experience with spare parts - poor with generic entry level brushes, better with Paasche; spare parts Gaahleri had indicated they would have a range of spares available for the website launch in June - and in August still no website, however it was all up before Christmas and I bought O-ring sets (complete sets with 2 of each O-ring) spare needle, nozzle, nozzle caps, air caps in January 2024 and this gave me a lot more confidence in the product
The brush I bought is a pre-production model (Advanced spelt Advancad on the etching on the body) so I did replace all of the O-rings, nozzle, needle and nozzle cap & chucking guide in January 24 so my scepticism of the company late launch of web-site & parts is now out of the rear view mirror and I have bought the Mobius 2.0 and 3.0mm brushes - will report on these in a year on, December 2025
The Paint cup cap would not lock on the 3.0mm, and within a week their CS had sent me a new Paint cup & cap so encouraging whole product life ownership confidence
