During a routine reconnaissance mission over the Baltic Sea on 1985, a Swedish Saab 37 Viggen was accompanied by a Soviet Su-15. Things turned aggressive and when the Viggen performed advanced maneuvers at low altitude to get rid of his follower, the Soviet plane ended up a lethal crash into the water.

Interesting project. I am anxious which Viggen-kit you will be using and which modifications you will incorporate, so that I can steal them, ah, I mean lend them, in future projects of mine.

Micheal - steal with pride, I'm happy to inspire!😅
Regarding your question, as Special Hobby & Tarangus kits is the same mold I should go with the AJ, SH or AJS version. Visually it is more or less the same plane. The version mentioned in my project idea is a SH (Recon/Sea version). Going the recon way you will need to add with some additional pods from Maestro models.
You can also check fellow mate Thomas Kolb's Viggen Quadruple build. There is a lot of useful info and inspiration. I think his AJS version have some recon equipment under the belly.
