Mini wheel tubs were scratchbuilt and added to the bed so that the Pegasus wheels would clear.

The wood bed is made from wood veneer and a veneer trim strip for the center plank. Metal rails are from a Detail Master wood bed kit.

Front and rear bumpers and grill were stripped of chrome and repainted with Green Stuff World chrome paint.

The engine is a 572 Chevy big block with a Cross Ram intake from Iceman Collections.

The bucket seats are from Hobby Design and the center console was scratchbuilt from sheet styrene. A straight pin was used as a shifter and I painted the "8" on it to make it look like an 8-ball.

Steering wheel is from a Monogram 36 Ford kit and the steering column is from Parts by Parks.

Just perfect. I love the wood bed. I've done a few using coffee stirrers and thought they looked good... Lol. Where did you get that bed kit from. And did you use splash 2k also? Beautiful job. Def show quality.

Thanks Michael! The wood in the bed is a few pieces of wood veneer from Lee Valley that was glued to a plywood base. The rails are from a Detail Master wood need kit. The kit also came with a piece of mahogany that didn't look that great, hence the veneer. You can also get just rails from Mr. Model. Yes, the clear is 2K from Splash.
