Can you tell us more about your technique for washes? Your work is extremely crisp and nuanced. The shading on the gear legs is particularly good.
I'm building the same kit and my washes are heavier. What color and medium are you using, and how are you applying it and cleaning it up?
Amazing work.

Thank you KyMustang.
There are a couple of different washes used. In the gear bays I preferred a wash made from a mix of Johnsons Klear, water and a couple of drops of dark grey Tamiya acrylic paint. This is brushed over all the detail and left to settle. It dries glossy, so I cover it with later matt coats and then dry brush some white oil paint over the top.
The gear legs are just glossy white paint and then a pin wash made of white spirit and dark grey ABT502 oil paints.
Over the main airframe I used a mix of ABT502 Dark Mud mixed with white spirit and touched to all the surface detail. I don't flood it on and I don't brush it over the entire model. This was done over some thin layers of Tamiya X-22 Gloss, since the Tamiya LP paint I used for the greys was very matt in finish. After a white I just removed the dried oil paint with cotton buds and/or a cleaning cloth for glasses.
