A nice work is going on... so please pay much attention to nose's shape to avoid ruining everything in the end ! Academy also neglected the controls surfaces command, but this is far more easy to correct.
Other parts are correct or more than correct.
Good luck with this one, it is so graceful...

Usual technique : serious reshaping with tremendous sanding !
The issue is that Academy completely missed it, both from lateral and vertical sides. The section ahead the windscreen, right in front of it, is at the right dimensions : then lines are not plunging enough, and when the end of the aircraft is coming regarding its correct length, there is an ugly angle as fuselage has to end !!! One cannot miss it !
It is impossible to see when you look at the kit when opening the box, but you cannot miss it during building ! I've done the job twice with different method, and it is time consuming... But this kit has its good qualities too, and it is well adapted to tranformations with adaptation of another nose like U2 and U4 versions.
Anyway, most modellers miss it and you will deal as you wish of course ! 🙂 My mail was only a warning !!
At that point, every 262's kits at 1/72 scale have their qualities and drawbacks, and i use this one or another one depending on what i intend to build.

The brass work and detail looks really great!!! The shape of the Swallow is always worth the extra effort! Fantastic work!
