That car was an interesting piece of Hondas history. On my point of view it was some years ahead of the other producers. Maybe to early and therefor not that successful in Germany. Sadly. Like the FCX.... I have this kit in the shelf as a true Honda fan and driver from day one.
I'm watching.

My son and I both owned CR-Zs for several years and we loved them. It was definitely ahead of its time! Such a cool, sporty, futuristic and ECONOMICAL car! I wish I still had mine.

I started driving Honda in 1991 with a 1983 Accord. Then a 1987, 1989, 1990, 1996 Accord with a lot of other Honda, VW and a Pontiac parallel (1979/1980/1980/1983 Accord 2dr and 4dr, 1980 and 1989 Prelude, 1985/1986/1990 Civic, 1996 Legend and a good dozen Beetles from 1949 up to 1985). Except my daily driver (2007 CRV with 442.000 kilometers) I've sold mostly all old Honda at least last year. My brother sold his second ever car (Prelude 1986 - in the US shold be the 2.0 SI) this year after holding it for 22 years back. The new owner made contact approx. 10 years ago to tell him, if he ever will sell the Prelude, he will buy it. And he did! Amazing story....
I rebuilt my Accord Wagon as a kit here (the daily driver before my CRV: 1996 Honda Accord Aerodeck / Wagon - Gallery | Album by christian-w (1:24)) and my two "fun cars" (Civic CRX Del Sol - driving it nearby my CRV in the summer: 1992 Honda CRX Del Sol - Gallery | Album by christian-w (1:24), 1968 Beetle -the last in the shad 1968 Beetle - my Beetle: ED | Album by christian-w (1:24))

Alas, none of the Hondas I've owned come in plastic scale );
And my list is not as long as yours is, lol.
I started with a 1982 twinstar, currently I have a 1968 Scrambler, 2006 Accord 3.0 (coming up on 250k miles), a 2006 Insight, a 2014 Civic Si (K24 with a centrifugal S/C and supporting mods) and plenty of yard equipment!
I don't mean to hijack this thread, so feel free to DM me if you have more to share!

To Robert, I appreciate you sharing this build and I'm following along. The pictures you've shared so far have moved this kit up a handful of rungs on the wishlist.
