Is it possible to get a category for "Junkyard" as I have a box of old Blown Up kits that I have no intention of trashing, but when someone is looking for a part or piece, I can reference or someone can see if there is a part they could use from a blown up kit, kind of like an actual car junkyard or boneyard.

Precisely why I'd like this feature, they could add it to the who has it in STASH, WISHLIST, STARTED, COMPLETED, JUNKYARD. So, People could see who has it, and willing to part it out for fellow modelers!

If you click "move", there is a category "trashed". Could this help?

Yes, but if you want to trash it that's fine, but JUNKYARD puts it out to everyone to see if they are willing to part it out for others, I can't see what you have "TRASHED" in your Stash/Completed list. Say you need a grill for a 66 Mustang, you look at 66 Mustang, you see the list, I have one in my Junkyard, you PM me you need a Grill, I drop it in an envelope and for the price of a stamp, or you send me a self-addressed stamped envelope in the mail and BANG ! you get your grill, EZ PZ !

Great idea but I suspect it would take a lot of work to implement.
On another forum they tried to start a decal bank of unused decals. Unfortunately it proved too awkward to get the system working.

As stated, before all it needs to be is added to the with the category's that are on the product page, instead of 4 there would be 5, so you know the next car on of my cats blow up, I go to the kit page and add it to Junkyard, heck I came home one day and had a pile of Police cars all destroyed, looking like the final scene from Smoky and the Bandit part II ! LOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd add them to the Junkyard, any one need parts for some Chargers, Galaxies, Camaros or Mustangs ? LOL !

I also suggested a scrapyard section. But got no response.
I was thinking of a few possible ways that it might work.

I that the best way is to to look at a kit page. Scroll down to wherein shows stash and click on show all. This shows a list of mates who have that kit on their wishlist/started/completed.
Add a section for trashed (which we already can populate ourselves in our stash) and then we can see who has that kit "available for parts". I'd like to include both built trashed models and unbuilt kits with parts missing.

It's a simple add to the kit page, just add a category to the kit page with the 4 cats that are already there.
