Thanks Mark,i take my hat off to all plane modelers,it harder than armour models,lots of masking up.Also alot of work for underneath and you can;t see any of it.On to a 1/48 scale spitfire,i think it may be to small for me,but i will give it a go.Is it me,the smaller scale models models,the paint can look out of scale for the model? if you know what i mean.

Yeh, it can. I've done 1.72 scale subjects and it sometimes looks out of place. 1.48 and in the future 1.32 (Revell Hurricane) or 1.35th is what I'm sticking to. It seems thinning ratios and layered application seems to work better with those scales, for me anyway. 👍

Yes me too ,sticking to 1/35 or 1/32. Have to off load a few 1/48 kits,because next march border are doing the 1/35 he 111.

Yes, I have an itch to do a Border 1.35th plane. I would love to do the Hienkel bit out of my price range at the moment though. But the ICM Hampden that could tempt me to part with the wage rise we are supposed to be getting in the new year🙄
