Yo buddy!
Wife is slowly on the mend, thanks for asking. She's now off all meds and running on her own steam. Doctors have said that she might be back to normal, around late December, but she's improving daily.
I have done in the garden, for the rest of the autumn/winter, now. So, the cave is getting a tidy up and modelling will resume! I've done some 3D printing, but nothing plastic. However, I've been busy buying some cracking kits! See if you notice any new ones in my stash? 😉
How's tricks with you?

I did notice some very interesting additions to your stash, very nice! Good to hear your mrs is making a good recovery, must have been quite a scare.
Like you, my garden work is coming to an end for this year, so I'm hoping to get around to finishing the Hideout Truck fairly soon😄 After that I've got a rather large RC project lined up, which will include my first attempts at airbrushing 🙈

Mate, that Dragontrike looks awesome! The tyres are the size of English Teacups 🙂
Take your time with your airbrushing. Remember, it's not like a rattle can? Low pressure and slow moving. And do inside any details first. There's nothing more annoying, than finding out that you've missed the inside of a chassis crossmember, after doing a sterling job on the rest of it.

The Dragontrike does look very cool, that's going to be a lot of fun building it! I like the Aeromax kit you have bought and the Simba 8x8 is also quite a beast!
Thanks for the pointers on airbrushing, I intend to try my hand on doing camouflage, another first for me, to start with😉

I don't have it in an album, but I did a Meng 1/35 King Tiger, in camo. I used the blu-tac method, to give it the feathered edge look? I'd shoot a practice run on some paper or scrap plastic, first. Just to see what technique works for you best, before committing to your project? I did masking tape on a 1/24 Spitfire, and also on a BF-109. They turned out great, but I wasn't happy with the sharp edges? It just didn't feel right, to me? Freehand, I'll leave to the artists. Lol, it looks easy, but making it look convincing, is a totally different ball game.

I intend to start off by spraying paper to get a good feel for my airbrush and then try to freehand something. My plan is to build a 1/14th scale Scania R620 with a low loader and a 1/16th Leopard tank to haul with it, so the scale makes camo a bit easier. I hope. Having it look feathered does give the most realistic result I think. I'm also considering using cardboard templates of wavy shapes to get a more natural look. I'll keep you posted!
Meanwhile your stash is growing nicely, but I would have never taken you for a Foxbody Mustang man! Looks like you are getting ready for some rainy autumn and winter days?

Lol, I'm not really a Mustang guy, but the Fox Body reminds me of my old MK3 escorts? I've also purchased a lot of motorcycle kits. I plan to have a shelf dedicated to them. A lot of my 1/16 kits are basically loads for trailers. I'm hoping to do a car carrier, in the future? I still need to get my 1/14 trucks completed, but they might have to wait until spring, so I can take them outside. Definitely kit building weather here, now 👍
