Oh, PE-Origami. I admire everyone who is able to do this.

Such an amount of golden Bling-Bling 👍 I have to watch.
Pic 3: may be it is intended or possible to put the kit part in the middle of the PE?
 30 June, 13:12
Ricardo Reis Author
Welcome @bughunter; yes, the PE was "un-bendable", so I sourced the kit parts, they are not so refined, but they fit very well; it worked fine

Too much PE? Is that even a thing?

Ricardo, you can glow the brass with a candle for easier bending.
If you want to have it hard again, glow it after bending again and put it in cold water.

Just DON'T use a storm lighter when you anneal the brass!!! Don't ask me how I know that...

Really nice PE - work so far 😊

Yes, well, PE is a bit frustrating for me, but once I see the added detail, I force myself forward; @bughunter, yes, I've seen it done, I think I just need to be lazy and use a candle as well; after this photo I correct the angle of the ammunition shelf, in the middle of the picture

You mean that one? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lotfernrohr_7
If you scroll down a bit you will find the He111 on the list.
And I found this picture: [img1]

@Pedro Alves, já tinha ido dar uma vista de olhos, mas agradeço na mesma a atenção;
@bughunter, that's exactly it, but my problem is that I never saw pictures of an actual cockpit with the sight mounted as Eduard does - in fact, the picture you posted I had seen before and it shows the bomber lying OVER the opening that is supposed to house the sight and using the sight further to the nose, contrary to what Eduard tells us to do...

Seems to be a lot of work...
And you had to glue in the MGs already. 🙁
I hope they will survive.

Ricardo Reis Author
Yes, a whole lot of work, I is taking me days to glue everything; and yes, I'm very worried than the machine guns will survive, but they have to be glued from the inside!

I just took a look at the instructions. Also the fit is not the best, could it be possoble to do step 50 as late as possible?

Hi Ricardo, I've recently completed an He111 from ICM and broken the machine guns a couple of times during the painting and weathering phases. Fortunately, it was possible to repair them.
Also two windows peeled off during the masks removal process and was impossible to glue them again from the outside. Some extra glue is reccomended when still accessible 😊

Thank you for your comments, mates; I just glued the top part (in step 50), because it is now easier to handle this huge model; un fortunately, I will now have a lot of putty/sanding/re-scribing
