Nick DragoneLooking good, forge ahead. Funny, I can and have used tons of photoetch on ships without any issues. Outside of seat harnesses I have no desire to add or use PE on aircraft. Most if not all of it is hidden or not that much better than the kit part. Just my humble opinion π

Mark Sherwood AuthorI hate photo etch with a passion Nick. I would rather use the kit part, like yourself than photo etch. If I can get hold of fabric set's of seatbelts I use them. Or mock them up with masking tape. Thank you for the compliment too. π€π₯Έπ€

Mark Sherwood AuthorAh, thank you Robert. But you should see it close up. Pitot tube broke, ill fitting wheels, manual gunsight pinged off, I'll fitting clear parts and fogged, scratched interior of the canopy. But it was enjoyable all in all. But I thought I would post it anyway mishaps and all.

DoubtingmangoBeautiful finish Mark! The problem with building these things is that we're intimately aware of ALL of the imperfections from beginning to end. We might actually enjoy the finish that much more if we could erase our memories of the build. On the other hand. We wouldn't appreciate all the problems we solved along the way, and nobody would ever waste time on an interior.

TimmieLove the colours of the camo. Nice build. If a mask leaked, sometimes you can fix this mishap by 'softly' remove the paint with a wooden toothpick.

Mark Sherwood AuthorCheers Timmie, I did remove the excess paint with a cocktail stick (Thee wife was furious as the pineapple and cheese chunks, with the ickle' sausages too, were still on them. The party went down from there) it still looked a bit rough. But I just say it is weather/combat beaten. π€π₯Έπ€π€£π
