What kind of clear resin did you use?

I use Monocure Crystal Clear Pro 3D Printer Resin (an Australian brand). I've had good success with it, using an Elegoo Mars 2P printer.

Thanks guys, and welcome. This one might go slowly, unless I can find an STL for Hera as a pilot, and Sabine as the gunner. If anybody has any sources - let me know.

Finally got around to digitally kit bashing the figures. Got a Hera pilot by adding a Hera head, from some figures that came with a set of Ghost 3D files, with a rebel pilot body and a full size Hera helmet file. All merged together and then printed. The Sabine figure came from the same Ghost set of files, plus a female Mandalorian helmet cut from another purchased figure file.

that is amazing. fantastic job.
I did not know that you could print with transparent resin. need to learn 3D skills.....

Thanks guys. Spanjaard - definitely worth looking into 3D printing, especially for subjects not likely to be kitted (like niche Star Wars ships!). Yes, you can print with transparent resin but it does take a lot of sanding and polishing to really make it work.

I've just started a transparent resin project, so once again, following Uwe's builds pays off!

Thanks Greg. Fuselage and wings are all glued together now - unfortunately I couldn't figure out a good way to make the wings move. The only thing remaining is to make an interior for the gunner's turret and instal that.

Man. That's looking GOOD! So far the only transparent parts I've printed were the windscreens for my Carreidas 160 project, but I've got a plan in the works from some transparent resin cars as part of my upcoming "Tintin and the Thermozero" project - I figured transparent was the way to go for a project that represents 4-5 pages of pencil drawings and an abandoned Tintin album concept. 🙂 Seeing what you've done is inspiring, as usual. Great work!
