Drug this out while I was waiting on other things to dry. Nothing at all to show. Seems to be a lovely kit so far. Body work is done and ready for primer. Megatron BMW is assembled and has some nice molded in detail.

The turbo and pipes on this thing are TRICKY. My suggestion to everyone has been to put the engine on the floor pan and use that as a jig to build the turbo. Otherwise, shit is all over the place and doesn't fit properly. Good luck! Oh, and I don't know on this A version, but on the B version, you basically had to display the kit completely opened or completely closed as I had to glue the 2 halves at the very tip of the nose. Should be pics in my BT52B photo album.

Thanks bossy. I did a dry fit of the body work and the nose for sure doesn't want to stay down at the tip. I foresee an issue there. I'll take your words to heart on the turbo. I was just looking at that section of the instructions with a bit of dread.

Yeah, like I said, if you go to display it "curbside", then you really don't have to worry about the turbo as, once you lock the two halves together, it will never be seen.

Good point. I'll likely go that route anyways. Not like I have the extra display room to have body panels off.

This one is also done. Everything bossy said about this kit is spot on. I have it displayed engine cover off right now but that's not my usual style and I added no details so I may still go back and glue the engine cover down and seal it up. Great kit other than the engine cover not wanting to sit down how it should.

Nice work on this, it was a mega car in its time.

It's a tricky one! Surprisingly good decals though. The blue ones went on as nicely as the white ones. Did you get to that right front tyre marking? Nice result.

Thank you all!!

bossy, I stuck that last Michelin logo to my thumb when I wasn't paying attention and moved the tire while it was drying. 🤦🏻‍♂️. Dumb move. Have to find another from my decal box to put back on if I can.
