Taking a seat... The bowser in civilian colours is a very nice idea / addition to the overall project 👍

welcome mates! Unfortunately there are no seats as this is the cargo version.
I used a lot of black primer on the fuselage to fill up a bit the engraved panels and to smoothen the surface which is a bit too rough in my eyes for a metal finish.

I declare this project finished and added the final pictures.
The new Airfix kit is really fun to build and ony requires careful dry fitting. I airbrushed wing and fuselage separately and managed to join them without any putty. Managed however to damage the front window and replaced it with some clear packaging material. I also did not use the clear parts for the landing lights replacing them with Tesa film instead, worked like a charm 🙂
Many thanks for stopping by!

Building the same kit at the moment, very well done 👍 Good hint with the wing root fairings!

thanks for your very welcome comments! I will one day upload also pictures from the Autocar in BP colours from Paris Orly airport.
@Kenneth: dry fitting is the key for success - I had to file away quite some material to make the top/bottom of the wings a nice fit.

Uploaded more pictures with black background - I prefer black backgrounds for light colour subjects.
