SkyhikerRicardo, are you satisfied with the tones of the MPR colors? These early Flankers seem to be greyer than the more vibrant blues that came later. I am working on a SU-30 that has the same color scheme but I have to find an acrylic equivalent for the colors.

Cristian AGreat work on the entire kit, I especially like the engines and heat dispensers (which actually make the Su-35S a 4++ gen fighter). Looking forward to the final result!

Cristian A@Desert Marlin, wow you are a very patient guy! I like to see results fast, so any kit around 1 month of work is best for me.

I have the same Begemot decal set - are there mistakes in every decal or only in some?

Ricardo Reis AuthorThank you Alexander; in picture 59 of this album you will find a comprison; my experience is that most of the stencils have wrong sizes or are plain wrong; I spend some time comparing them with the ones in the kit; the major markings are ok, though

Palo MDid decal solutions make any difference with the in-box decals? Do you recommend Begemot despite the size difference, or rather varnish + sanding?

Ricardo Reis AuthorThe solutions don't help much, only a little; I only used smaller decals from the kit, not numbers and big emblems; larger number and markers from Begemot were ok, beyond that, almost all Begemot stencils were either too large or too small… or simply wrong

Ricardo Reis AuthorSure does, I find the ladders a good way to give scale to the models, and that way I avoid having to paint a figure 😄

Cristian AWow Ricardo, this Su-35S looks incredible and it came out super realistic! Now I'm really tempted to start a big Flanker myself 😄 Good luck at the exhibition, it's going to turn heads for sure! 👍👍👍
