No yellow paint was used, just the yellow the plastic was molded in. I'm sure it looks much better than the one I built 40 years ago.

I still need the Lil hustler, which is being reissued shortly. A 3 window coupe, which I have not even looked for yet, and a chevy ice patrol. I've seen a couple ice patrol kits and they are pricey.

I actually looked for that kit today mate, for you, at my local IPMS show. There's another one in a few weeks, so I'll keep my eyes open. Good luck with your continuous quest mate. Hopefully, you'll get to recreate your memory.
