Lovely. I'd never guess it was one of those simplified Hobbyboss jobs! Just shows its the modeller not the kit that determines the outcome. Congrats!

Thank you, Neil! Actually it is a quite good model of HB, regardless the simplification. And yes, I did some small improvements to become what you see 🙂

Very nice job 👍
Tony, what are those small improvements you did? Did you do anything to the cockpit? I think it's very basic in the kit.

Congrats!

Thank you, guys, for rising up your interest on this old build and for all your likes! 🙂
@Cuajete, I used as a guide one topic about MiG-3 spread out through the web - what and how can be improved on this kit. I honestly didn't bother too much with the cockpit as it is hardly seen anyway through closed canopy. Only added struts of the internal cage and seatbelts. On the outside - a bit of riveting here and there (rather discrete than falling pedantic into blueprints) and opened air intakes and exhaust. The kit itself is pretty descent OOB regardless of its simplification, just need a little touch-up and careful painting 🙂 Aah, and almost forgot, I've used decals from the old Revell kit.
