Mil Mi-28N Havoc, Zvezda 7255

Mil Mi-28 is a powerful attack helicopter, some kind of russian analogue of western AH-64, but I never liked its appearance. This slender fuselage with rat-like nose (on late modification this radar bulb on the nose of Mi-28 was was removed, but it didn’t make it any more beautiful) just cannot be compared to mighty but beautiful look of Mi-24 Hind in my opinion. Anyway, Mi-28N is now one of the main attack helicopters in russian air forces together with Ka-52 Alligator, so it definitely should be on the shelf. I bought this models somewhere near 2007-2008, when Mi-28 was shown at many airshows to gain attention from customers outside Russia, long before Syria, where it saw first combats, and Ukraine. Even now, in 2025 Zvezda sells the model of that Mi-28N and the model is OK, it has a good fit and definitely looks like a real Havoc, but is somehow outdated. In any case, I recommend this kit to any fan of combat helicopters.
