Nice to see you work on another tiny kit. Always a pleasure to watch you add all the details to these simple kits. The sewing pin looks great as an antenna (it's probably a pitot tube).

One thing though - could you please set the correct kit for the project. It will make it easy to find your album for people building the same kit in the future. I find build logs like yours specially valuable when starting a build or even choosing what kit to buy.

Flat or satin?
I took a look at few instructions for 1:72 Su-47-s and: Zvezda says matt, Itareli says flat, Revel says satin. 🙂
(Revel in 1:144 says 80% matt black + 20% matt blue, but they can't be trusted)

I would go with satin. To me it looks more satin then matt (in right lighting conditions), and I guess it would be easier to "dumb it down" to matt if later you decide it was the wrong choice.

Funny you mentioned the Blue ? In some photos you can catch a very slight blue tone ?
I think l will experiment on a few scraps ...test out before paint.

I add a little white, make a very dark grey. Idk why but it looks more black than black on my model trains. I'd look at pics and if I saw specular highlights I'd do semigloss.

Thanks Ben 👍 yes l been looking through the kits section to see what other builder's have done, it's very difficult from photos! As very few good ones and different light conditions. In some examples lm sure l see a blue tint ??
Be nice if it's a little off-black as panel line's may show a little?
