In case anyone's wondering since there doesn't appear to actually be an E-variant of the BMP-3 anywhere - this model appears to be of the rarer BMP-3 with a Vesna-K sight. The tell-tale is the second optic installed outboard of the standard 1K13-2 or newer Sozh sight It can be made into a standard BMP-3 using the unused parts on sprue D, or even into the newer vehicles refitted with the Sozh (single optic on the roof, IR beamer in place of the original IR spotlight) sight using aftermarket/spare parts or by scratch-building the PL-1 IR beamer.

By the way, since the manual doesn't give information about the colours of the interiour (outside of suggesting flat black for the seats) people can try something like Tankograd's BMP-3 article for reference (ie to see which parts of the turret basket are red, grey, white.. etc). Also, from the same set of reference photos, it'd appear that the unditching log's position in actual usage is different - it hangs on the port side's hull and not as depicted on top of the main hull beside the turret.

If my research is correct, the depicted and buildable vehicle is also a demonstration vehicle from the company Rostec. There are several reference photos of the tank on the internet credited to Rostec. Or am I mistaken in my assessment?

Yup, the particular vehicle is an expo/tech demo of the intermediate BMP-3 upgrades, but short of the BMP-3M they're building today. Not sure how many vehicles were built/retrofitted to this standard, tho.

the wiki page of bmp-3 has a photo named"Rear view of a BMP-3, showing how troops are expected to exit the vehicle",shows that the unditching log's position is on top

And on the exact same wiki page, the top image (the one that has the 2 guys saluting) has the unditching log off to the side. If you look closely, the mounts for it are hinged. I'm speculating here, but maybe the idea is to clear the arc for the turret on that side, but .. I may be between "wrong" and "very, very, VERY" wrong on that front.
Edit: Thinking about it more it could be something as simple as to keep the vehicle narrow enough that it fits properly on train cars or trailers). *No clue*, tho and when I look up BMP-3 pictures, both positions seem to be in use (both for parade/training and for combat)
