Personal Interest: I remember being an avid reader of magazine articles about the rumored stealth fighter being developed in the Nevada desert. Though I had already decided to join the US Air Force by that time, those articles only made me more eagerly anticipate my entry into service.

Model Specifications: This model represents the YF-117A Full Scale Demonstrator (FSD) #1. The aircraft features a blue, gray and sand camouflage paint scheme and a longer center probe necessary for flight testing.
