Personal interest:
The Iraqi Army fielded 9K35 systems with each battalion during Operation Southern Watch. It was associated with air defense of Iraqi Army assaults on its rebelling Shi'ite and Kurdish populations. The 9K35 was primarily a threat to coalition CAS and FAC missions.
