Personal Interest: The Colorado ANG was among the first to convert from the F-100 to the A-7, making the transition in 1974. These aircraft made occasional appearances for training near my rural Nebraska home. The 120th TFS was the winner of the first annual Gunsmoke competition held at Nellis AFB in 1981.
Model Specifications: This model represents an A-7D of the 140th TFW as seen in the 1980s, with a wrap-around “Euro” camouflage scheme.
