HHrAviation - Fighter Command

Hawker Harrier Aviation(HHrA/HHrAviation) is a fictional UK Military Aviation Authority (MAA) approved and regulated Defence Contractor Flying Organisation (DCFO) which owns, operates and maintains a multiple-platform fleet of ex-military aircraft.
With 3 years of operating experience, we now have a proven track record of providing turnkey outsourced solutions to Government Agencies and Defence Contractors for the purpose of Trials Support, Aerial Threat Simulation and Mission Support Training.
In an environment where governments and contractors have to balance ever-increasing defence costs with budgetary constraints, HHrAviation’s service offerings provide cost effective and flexible turn-key solutions to ease the task and budgetary pressure on the defence community.
Founded on June 26th 2022 at our former home Hoton-Stanford Airport, formerly RAF Wymswold, HHrAviation’s fully deployable aircraft are flown & maintained by Suitably Qualified and Experienced former RAF, RN & Test Pilot personnel familiar with both trials management and the latest NATO training, systems and operational requirements.
The HHrAviation enabling Solution – sorties dedicated to the bespoke customer tasking cost effectively replicating the majority of the support profiles once accomplished within the Air Forces themselves ranging from all aerial combat training to trials support, photo chase and radar calibration.
HHrAviation’s multiple platform fleet of ex-military aircraft & helicopters provides the capability to meet the limitless foreseeable trials and combat training demands.
As of the 29th January 2025 we have fully moved to or new home at former RAF Cottesmore Rutland!
Unfortunately with our huge success has also bought the issue of outgrowing our former home at Hoton-Stanford Airport Leicester.
We were in the process of getting planning permission approval for a Type C Hanger but during our evaluation of HHrAviation's fleet we came to realise that even if we were granted permission we still wouldn't have the space we truly needed!
The planning permission application was eventually approved and was transferred to Hoton-Stanford Airport's ownership.
Inlight of this development we conducted various farewell flypasts and displays aswell as 1 huge finale flypast by all our aircraft at the 2025 Hoton-Stanford Airshow.
After the show we moved all our aircraft, personnel and other equipment over the next 6 or so months to RAF Cottesmore in stages.
We can confirm now that we have fully vacated Hoton-Stanford Airport and our currently active aircraft are fully combat simulator ready.
We now have facilities at RAF Wittering, RAF Barkston Heath and RAF Leuchars!
Our new facilities have their roles to play:
RAF Barkston Heath - Rotary Wing & Bronco Ops
RAF Cottesmore - Main Operations
RAF Leuchars - Forward Deployment
RAF Wittering - Restoration & Storage
In a "first of its kind" move, HHrAviation have purchased 3 A-7 Corsair II's, 2 Lockheed S-3 Viking's and a KA-7D Intruder that are being prepped in the future for a "QRA Tanker" role.
Our original idea was to have the Harrier T.12's take care of this duty but it has been found in a recent study that having a fleet of dedicated aircraft on QRA standby is much more cost-effective and it gives us the opportunity to have yet another type on the books!
HHrAviation's Eurofighter Typhoon Pilots are all trained on the aircraft through BAe Systems at Warton Lancashire using BAe Systems T-Birds and then transfer over to our F.2's
Our stored aircraft are stored in Hanger X.
Should a requirement arise that cannot be covered by the performance envelope of the Harrier, Hawk and Jaguar fleet, HHrAviation’s suite of approvals enables it to either modify existing aircraft or source and certify a more suitable platform.
With approximately 230+ aircraft, HHrAviation operates the worlds largest fleet of privately owned former military tactical jet, Prop aircraft & Helicopters.
