Have started this kit during summer period, missing instructions and decals sheet I had to reach out in this great SCM community.
A great shout out to fellow modeler Bob Leader who helped me out with a copy of the instructions and all measures on the decals.
Many thanks @Bob Leader!!!👍🏻👏🏼

Thanks Robert & Guy for your interest!
Yes, it is ambitious this time. Fear the rigging part…

Thanks Alec K & Villiers de Vos for your kind comments.
Vacu kits seems to be a topic in the modelling community, at least here i Sthlm. When I visited the local hobby shop last time we had a great discussion on vacu kits "to be or not to be".
The owner was quite direct with the question "Why do you want to build Vacu when there is so many great kit's out there?". It is a valid question, but there is a lot of unique kits out there that you can't find I the normal range of vendors and kits. Nevertheless there is something for everyone.😅
Sanding in progress, planning for start the paint work in the weekend.

Decals - after some thinking I have decided to make my own decals for the build. So I'm reaching out to you mates in order to get a better understanding what's needed.
What to think about, equipment, printer, Software needed. Do's & Don't.
It's also ok to send a PM if you don't want to clogg this feed.

Not sure if you will be able access this, let me know if you can't. I've followed his advice and had good results. Make sure you don't buy cheap decal paper as it'll be money wasted.

Tackling vacu kits are the pinnacle of modelling in my eyes. I will consider myself a whole modeller only with a vacu kit under my belt. Yet to come...
I love great kits that fall together by themselfes, but occasionally a real modelling challenge is overdue.
So following those who up to the task is a particular pleasure for me. Keep up the good work.

Few thoughts on my own decal making experience: if this is one-of (ie if you don't see yourself doing this again) I recommend to outsource the decal printing. You can supply the artwork (I use Corel Draw, a vector editing program), but the printing can be challenging if you don't have the right printer. I have used inkjet myself for many years but switching to laser printer was a game changer (much sharper output without the bleeding concerns) In any case, any white lettering you can't do on a normal printer as they do not print white color.
